Textastic Takes Document Creating On The iPad To A New Level
The Apple iPad has a plethora of different writing applications for taking notes or creating documents on your Tablet device.
There are already popular apps like Documents To Go, Elements and Simplenote…. But now there is a new, different kind text editor called “Textastic.” Textastic offers many advanced features that are rarely found in iPad apps and is solely aimed at targeting developers and web designers.
Now, no matter what language you speak or write in, Textastic has you covered! This wonderful writing app recognizes more than 80 different spoken languages in order to cross every cultural and geographical background possible. The app includes HTML, Objective-C, PHP, Java, Python and much more. It also supports syntax highlighting so that users can quickly find the right code they are searching for. The Developer of Textastic, Alexander Bach, is claiming that his software has the capabilities of handling large source code files with ease.
The Textastic iPad app also supports the popular Apple Bluetooth keyboard so that you can easily create your documents without taking advantage of the Apple touch screen. The app also supports the WebDAV protocol which hakes exchanging files from other computers a cinch.
If you are looking for an easier and more productive way to create documents, whether that be HTML code or regular, I definitely recommend downloading Textastic. The application can be found in Apple’s app store for around $5.
