Ever since the huge success of the Apple iPad, competitors have been desperately trying to join in on this huge success. The newest tablet to join the craze is the eLocity A7 tablet from Stream TV Networks.  According to a report from engadget.com, the eLocity A7 tablet has a 7 inch screen that runs the Google Android 2.2 OS and comes fully equipped with the NVidia Tegra 2 chipset for quality HD video playback. The tablet will also have a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, an accelerometer, USB HDMI and an SD slot for additional storage.

Stream TV has plans on unveiling the tablet sometime in October and hopes to sale the tablet exclusively on Amazon for around $400. This tablet has all of the makings that could really give the iPad a run for its money, however, it’s interesting to see how this tablet will match up with the other dozen or so tablets that all plan to run the Google Android OS.

This tablet looks nice, performs quite good too, but it’s out of date. There are quite a few new devices powered by windows 7, which I think is way better than a7. Of course if you will be mainly browsing internet, who needs windows features.
