According to a report from Bloomberg, Apple iPad fans will probably have to wait until June for the launch of the iPad 2.
The report states that Yuanta Securities analysts are claiming that Apple’s contract manufacturer “Hon Hai Precision” are currently experiencing setbacks that are forcing Apple to push the next generation’s iPad release from April to as far back as June.
“Our checks suggest new issues are being encountered with the new production and it is taking time to resolve them,” said analyst Vincent Chen. While it’s still unclear how reliable this information is, you should definitely take this and any other iPad 2 rumor that you hear with a grain of salt.
Even after this new rumor of production delays, most Apple experts are still suggesting that the iPad 2 will most likely be released in either March or April. The only downside to this is that every delay the Apple has with the release of the iPad 2 will only fuel the competitor’s chances of creating their so-called iPad killers.
