RUMOR: Apple will offer engraving service for all iPad orders during Christmas

The website Erictric has recently stirred up a rumor that Apple plans on offering a free engraving service for all iPad orders just in time for the Christmas Rush. Apple has tinkered with engraving services in the past with the iPods and it was seen as a huge success for the Cupertino based company. According to the report from Erictric, Apple had plans on offering engraving services much sooner than the Christmas rush, but that the option was put on hold due to the huge demand Apple had for the iPad.

Of course this article was purely based on rumor and speculation and Apple has not officially come out stating that they would offer the engraving service. The source of this rumor was said to come from an “Apple Insider” or someone who works for the company.
