One of my favorite Apple websites “MacRumors” posted a report today that indicates a slightly different looking iPad 3 button. Of course as production of the iPad 3 gets closer, you are going to start seeing all kinds of leaked iPad 3 pictures, both real AND fake. This newest pictures shows the front and backside of the suspected iPad 3 home buttons in comparison to the iPad 2 buttons. The pictures don’t really indicate anything different or new with the [...]

According to reports from a Taiwan based magazine, Apple has big plans of introducing the Apple iPad 3 to the public on a day that’s very special to a lot of Apple fan’s hearts, and that day is Steve Jobs birthday. Steve Jobs was born on February 24th, which is coincidentally around the same time frame that Apple usually unveils their newest gadget models. 9to5Mac quoted, “A local Chinese-language newspaper reported Friday that iPad3 might be launched on Feb. 24 [...]

For the tech (and old style arcade game) savvy out there: there’s finally an approved (for now, at least) arcade game emulator available in the iTunes app store! MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) is a software emulator allowing you to run the software of literally thousands of arcade game favorites on your iOS device (the app is listed as compatible with both iPhone and iPad)- from the original Pong to Mortal Kombat, Donkey Kong to Dig Dug. We haven’t had a chance [...]

According to newspapers in Israel, the Apple company is in the works of buying out an Israeli memory firm named Anobit. The foreign report states that Anobit executives called a company meeting this morning to inform their employees about the acquisition. The company was allegedly bought out by Apple for $500 million! Apple is offering free next day shipping in the United States on all major iOS device purchases from the Apple Online Store. This latest move from the nation’s richest company was another effort from Apple to help out those last minute shoppers who are desperately wanting their packages by Christmas. There are a few stipulations on Apple’s free holiday shipping offer, for example, the iPhone 4S is in short supply so it doesn’t apply with this free shipping offer. Engraved [...]

I was reading a nice article on PadGadget, and I found it quite frustrating so I thought I would share it with you guys. The Wal-Mart Online Store is selling a $50 iTunes eCard for only $40! I’m not sure why this sale isn’t being promoted a little more, because I was just at Wal-Mart yesterday and I purchased a 4 pack of $15 cards for $60, and I didn’t see anything about this. Well here is the reason: It’s [...]

When it was first introduced to the market the iPad was mocked by more than a few pundits: “Tablets have already failed.” ”What do you do with it?” ”It’s a consumption-only device, incapable of doing any real work.” “It’s just an attempt to get more people locked into the iTunes store.” ”A netbook is far more useful- they have actual keyboards.” “Why would anyone pay that much for a toy when the same amount can buy you a real laptop?” Millions [...]

Indie game developer Sybo, makers of the recently reviewed Cosmic Cab have announced their latest addition to iOS gaming: Power Flow. When PowerFlow was offered for review, we were a bit skeptical. While we are very vocal advocates of small developers (and admirers of publishing outfits like Bandello that help get their product to the iTunes app store) often small game developers fall into the rut of mimicking popular games, modifying certain aspects, tweaking graphics or gameplay, and capitalizing on the familiarity of [...]
