Oprah Magazine Is Now Live For The Apple iPad

Just because Oprah is throwing in the towel with her talk show after 25 long years, doesn’t mean she’s not going to stay in touch with reality, I mean technology.

In fact, Oprah loves her apple device and she apparently plays scrabble on it daily. Anyhow, Oprah has come out with her own magazine iPad application, and if it’s anything like Oprah, you can bet it’s going to super extravagant!

Now Oprah fans all over the world can enjoy O all day directly on from their iPad’s. The app takes the actual print version of her magazine and displays it with rich content and interactive media displays that are sure to keep you coming back each month. Unfortunately even Oprah has to pay a few bills, so you can expect to see a few advertisements inside the paid edition, but I’m sure true Oprah fans won’t mind.

The Oprah iPad magazine also comes jam picked with an interactive holiday season gift buying guide with tap tap screen purchasing capabilities, which is pretty cool if you are lazy and have a lot of money to spend! But probably the coolest feature this magazine app has is the ability visit the Reading Room. The room is a virtual experience on the iPad that lets you read the first chapter of books in Oprahs Book Club. I know my Mother is going to love this feature!

You can download the O magazine app directly from the app store for free, but of course, subscriptions will cost you $4 each.
