MyHandstand for the iPad user on the go

One of the greatest features of the iPad is its portability. Ultra thin, light, and unrivaled battery life have allowed users to use it for tasks that similar devices simply can’t accommodate. The portability and touchscreen interface make it ideal for users on the go performing tasks requiring the user to be on their feet.

The MyHandstand from Arkon addresses this need by allowing the iPad user to comfortably carry their iOS device in one hand (and securely rotate it to the optimal position for the task at hand). The MyHandstand consist of a soft but durable case protecting the sides and back of the iPad with an adjustable elastic strap and contoured glove-like apparatus. The case fits comfortably and snugly on the hand and performs its job very well, allowing for worry-free use of your iPad.

We found the MyHandstand to be a welcome addition to our collection of cases. While it isn’t an all-purpose case the functionality provided separates it from other similar accessories. While the iPad is a lightweight device, it can be difficult to hold securely after a short period of time walking or standing. While there are other strap-like cases and accessories none allow for easy rotation of the iPad to either landscape or portrait mode (or simply to a more ergonomic using angle) like the MyHandstand does.
