Well it sure didn’t take very long. Just hours after Apple released their iOS 4.3.2 update, hackers have already managed to jailbreak the firmware for the iPhone 4, iPad, and 3rd and 4th gen iPod touché devices.
This new jailbreak is considered a tethered jailbreak, which means that you will have to plug your device into your computer each time you reboot. In order to jailbreak the iOS 4.3.2 you will need to download the PwnageTool bundle, PwnageTool version 4.3 and the tetheredboot utility. You will also need a Mac OS X computer with iTunes 10.2.1.
There is also another method I’ve read that uses redsn0w. You can read more about it from newsden, they will give you some pretty nice instructions.
This is just the word on the street, because I have not personally jailbroken my iPad update “yet”. As soon as I do I will give you a more detailed story…
