But when it comes to spending money on spotlight advertising, Samsung doesn’t hesitate to take aim at Apple fans and the company’s products. The Samsung Super Bowl commercial portrays a bunch of Apple fans waiting in line for either a new iPhone or iPad, while showing off their soon o be released Samsung Galaxy note smart-phone as “the next best thing.”

When asked whether or not Samsung is directly targeting Apple during their advertising campaigns, Samsung confirmed that their commercials are an attempt to connect with viewers on an emotional level..“Especially in the United States people are obsessed with Apple,” said the marketing exec from Samsung during a CES interview this month. “It’s time to change people’s attention.”

The phone that Samsung is displaying in the commercial is the “Samsung Galaxy Note”, and as the commercial shows it comes equipped with a stylus. MacRumors made mention to a good Steve Jobs quotes, “If you see a stylus, they blew it.”

According to MacWorld both full screen and AirPlay modes will be supported. Mac users will need to download the free Silverlight browser plug in.

But there’s a new app that will help you feel like you’re at the game no matter where you watch it. The NFL has introduced an Official Super Bowl XLVI game program for the Apple iPad. That’s right, now you can enjoy the official game program while you’re watching all of the games and activities just like you were actually there, minus the commercials of course. But then again, the Super Bowl commercials are almost the best thing about watching the game. I said almost..

Nevertheless, the Super Bowl XLVI game program app for iPad gives you the same reading and content that’s handed out to visitors and the game, except it’s been converted into a kick-butt digital version! The app highlights the Giants and Patriots amazing seasons, with important moments and over 400 megabytes of video clips from the season.

This is a must have for any hardcore football fan; the only downside is that the app takes a whopping 1 gigabyte to store. You might consider downloading it only for the game, and then deleting it after it’s over. That’s my advice. So here it is, you can download the Super Bowl XLVI game program from the Apple App store for free before the game starts tomorrow.

A company there is advertising a crappy new Android Tablet while making fun of the late Apple CEO, Steve Jobs. The Android Tablet on display in this distasteful commercial is called the “Action Pad” and it’s being displayed by a man wearing blue jeans, a black shirt and glasses just like Steve always did.  But the really disturbing thing about this video is that the comedian who is acting as Steve Jobs is wearing white wings and a halo in the commercial.

“Introducing the next generation of the pad, it’s amazing! Pad. What more do we need? I think this is. Thank God I can finally play another Pad!”

The company promoting the ad is a Taiwanese company named “Action Electronics”, and they have created a fire that’s burning the %#$%# of Apple fans everywhere. Soon after the commercial aired on TV, Apple fans immediately demanded a response from the company’s spokes people, and this is what they received in response; “Steve Jobs always promoted things that were good for people, Apple products, so his image can also promote other things that are good. It’s just an impersonator, not Jobs. We have no choice but to use Android, we can’t use iOS.”

Regardless of the apology, this company knew exactly what they were doing when they decided to air such a horrible commercial. Hopefully the negative publicity will have consumers boycotting their “crappy android tablet” and buying the iPad 3 instead.

Applications like Nike+ focus on making sure athletes not only have the ability to keep track of their workout schedules, but it can actually tell them how fast or how far they’ve ran. Now, with the filling of this new “Interfacing Portable Media Devices and Sports Equipment” patent, it would seem that Apple is in the works of changing the way people exercise.

The report shows that Apple has plans to make it where one person exercising can view another person whose exercising performance information in real time. In other words, you can see which one of your workout buddies is really working out the hardest, talk about true bragging rights right there.

The pictures show the iBoot debugging software which displays information leading to the specifications for the soon to be released iPad 3. The screenshots were claimed to have been sent by an unknown source and they provide some interesting insight for iPad critics to talk about.

The pics make reference to the iPad 3,1” code, and show that the tablet will include a new processor the “S5L8945X. . They also suggest that the new iPad will be compatible with both GSM and 3G networks.

If all of the speculations and rumors hold up, the new iPad 3 will probably sport a quad-core processor, more than likely a chip from the new A6 chip line. But nevertheless, this is simply a rumor and BGR has given zero evidence proving that these pictures are legitimate. But then again, if these pictures do show the actual bootrom from the new iPad 3, then these updates prove that Apple is the works of making the best tablet in the world even better!

Of course anyone who sits in one position for too long will start experiencing pain, this is especially true with online video gamers. The study goes on to show that most iPad owners generally hold their devices at an angle lower than their head, mostly in their laps, and this tends to put pressure on the neck and shoulder joints. Duh!!

Jack Dennerlein was the head of this iPad Harvard study, and he recently told the New York Daily News that iPad owners are getting “stuck in awkward positions for long periods of time.” He also said that in order to avoid these pains and cramps that users should change viewing positions more frequently.

Of course this all seems like common sense, right? If you’ve ever found yourself “stuck” on playing a video game for days on end, then you know exactly what this study is talking about. I just hope Harvard didn’t spend too much money on research that is soo freaking obvious.

The iWatch is a brilliant concept, it basically takes an iPod Touch and turns it into a fancy looking wrist-watch. Even though the idea is solid and the watch looks really good, I highly doubt Apple will move into the business of creating digital time pieces.

Nevertheless, the iWatch would be a neat gadget that would possibly come equipped with built in WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities. It might also include a front facing little camera so to allow watch owners to FaceTime with each other. The designer of the iWatch concept is a man named Antonio De Rosa and he is fully of great ideas for this invention. He says the possibilities are limitless and that the iWatch could sport advanced features and LCD Projector, as long as Apple would be interested in pursuing the invention.

This being said, I wouldn’t hold my breathe waiting for the iWatch to hit Apple stores any time soon, if ever. It’s still a good idea though… keep ‘em coming Antonio!

That’s right, a report from PadGadget says that an elementary school in Madison, Wisconsin will be receiving a total of 1400 iPads to use as learning devices inside their classrooms.

The gift from Microsoft is the product of a lawsuit that accused the company of over-charging its consumers on their software package purchases. The agreement states that Microsoft is to give schools in Wisconsin “technology vouchers” to use as they please. The school in Madison is set to receive $3.4 million dollars in total, and with it they plan on purchasing a great deal of iPads.

Madison isn’t the only county in Wisconsin adopting the iPad into their classrooms. Schools all over America are using the device in the hopes of replacing traditional textbooks with Apple’s new iBooks 2. In Wisconsin alone though, school boards are working to approve a deal where 33 schools would receive iPad’s in every classroom within the next few months.
