Buffalo Wild Wings, one of the best restaurants to eat, drink and watch sports at, is working on adopting the Apple iPad as an ordering device for customers.
According to the report, the iPad’s would be used not only to order food or drinks, but to also help entertain their customers while they wait for wings as well. Buffalo Wild Wings doesn’t have any solid plans on the radar to if/when they will actually use iPad’s in all of their restaurant chains, but they are testing it as a definite possibility.
The iPad’s will be fully protected in a specialized case from HubWorks Interactive that is made especially for restaurant use. Each iPad would only cost around $700-800, this seems like a pretty good investment for such a successful restaurant chain. The company recently tested pilot program at one of their restaurants in Toronto, and it showed that while men usually watched sports or played games on the Apple tablet, women were more prone to social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
