Less than a week after Steve Jobs passed away from his epic battle with pancreatic cancer, Apple has released a new version of their mobile operating system iOS 5.
Apple boasts that receiving a software upgrade is like getting a brand new iPad or iPhone, and with the new update boasting over 200 new features, it seems like just that. The last iOS update was iOS 4.2, and with it came awesome features like the ability to multitask, AirPlay and the new Game Center.
This update however is a little more relaxed and simple. The new iOS 5 update is said to open up new ways that your iOS devices connect to one another. But probably the most noticeable changes in the new iOS are the three new apps on your home screen: Newstand, Reminders, and iMessages. Of course the functionality of these new apps is pretty much in the names.
