Apple Delays iOS 4.2 Update Due To WiFi Glitch

According to reports from various technology sources, the Apple iOS 4.2 update is reportedly delayed due to connection issues. The recent news was that Apple planned on releasing the iPad update this week, but now it looks like that’s not going to happen.

So why do we keep having all of these delays for the 4.2 iOS? Well according to rumors, the company has detected a glitch that seriously affects the Wi-Fi connection on the iPads. The bug was originally found by developers that are currently running the iOS 4.2 GM on the iPad. Check out the YouTube video that was taken by a iOS developer. The video touches base a little bit on the exact details of the Wi-Fi issue.

So how long are we going to have to wait until we get to taste the new Apple iOS? According to reports, the new launch date is expected to be around November 24th. Do you think Apple should go ahead and release the software and just release the updates as they come out, or do you think that Apple should keep pushing the iOS launch date back until its “perfect” by Apple’s standards? I would love to hear your thoughts on this…

  • No way! They should wait until it meets their standards. The one thing I appreciate about my Apple products is how they just work. I can wait 10 days for something that is going to work out of the gate!

    Love the site.

  • I have totally agree with you on that Trey! Apple seems to be making all the correct moves, so why would we even question their decision making?
