The good people at MacRumors recently posted the scoop about Apple’s big town hall meeting today.Apple Employees

According to the reports, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that all Apple employees would receive discounted prices on the iPad and Mac Computers. Employees are said to get discounts of $250 on iPads, which is around 50% off the retail, and $500 off any new Mac Computer.

This new employee discount program from Apple is set to begin in June 2012, but employees are only allowed to take advantage of this offer every three years. Also, in order for an Apple employee to receive this special discount they must be employed by Apple for more than three months.

Currently, if you’re employed by the Apple Company then you automatically get a 25% off coupon once a year to use on any Apple system. It’s not yet clear if Apple plans to discontinue this current employee discount or if they are going to offer both.

Apple is no stranger to offer little perks to their employees, in fact back in 2007 Steve Jobs gave all Apple employees a free 8GB iPhone. This is just one more great thing from the world’s most successful corporation.
